North Macedonia Moves Drug Approval Workflow Online in Moj Termin, powered by Pinga®

The drug-approval workflow is now 100% digital

The Positive List Committee, responsible for managing medications covered by North Macedonia's Health Insurance Fund (HIF), has officially adopted a new digital module within the Moj Termin platform, powered by Sorsix.

The module transforms previously heavily manual procedures into an entirely digital workflow, significantly increasing transparency, efficiency, and reducing paperwork.

What Changes

● Pharmaceutical companies file applications online, attach all documents and track status in one place.

● Administrators review submissions in Moj Termin, request extra files when needed and pass complete dossiers to the Committee and HIF.

● HIF uploads its official opinion inside the system, so every action is time-stamped and visible.

● The Committee scores each medicine on nine criteria. Moj Termin then generates an automatic rank list for approval, removing manual spreadsheets and version risk.

● A public portal delivers greater transparency, letting citizens and clinicians track application statuses, committee sessions and related information in real time.

Why it matters

The new module replaces paper folders and email chains with a single digital path from application to final decision. It extends Moj Termin's proven national infrastructure to yet another critical workflow and keeps every stakeholder on the same page in real time.

This launch confirms Moj Termin's role in simplifying and digitising every core health process across North Macedonia.
