Sorsix Highlights the Role of Structured Health Data at Public Health Futures 2026

Sorsix took part in the 2nd Public Health Conference & 2nd HSG Europe Preconference, held on 21–22 May 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje. The conference focused on the theme “Building Evidence Based Resilient Health Systems in a Changing Europe” and brought together the public health, research, policy, and health systems community for two days of exchange and discussion.

As one of the conference partners, Sorsix contributed to the Opening Session through the participation of Dragan Shahpaski, CTO of Sorsix. He joined representatives from the Ministry of Health, Faculty of Medicine - Skopje, Institute of Public Health, SEEHN, WHO, HSG, and WHO TDR.

From health records to evidence

In his remarks, Dragan focused on the value of longitudinal health data from MojTermin, North Macedonia’s national e-health system developed and maintained by Sorsix.

He spoke about how coded, structured health information can help researchers turn health records into evidence for stronger public health decisions. Rather than looking at data only as individual records, Dragan highlighted the importance of understanding health information as part of a wider system: connected, layered, and shaped by the way healthcare services are delivered.

As he described it, health information is like an onion: layered, complex, and full of insight when explored with the right structure.

This perspective reflects a key opportunity for modern health systems. Everyday healthcare workflows generate valuable information through referrals, reports, prescriptions, registries, and other digital processes. When that information is structured and used responsibly, it can support research, planning, and a clearer understanding of health-system needs.

Digital infrastructure with long-term value

For Sorsix, the discussion at Public Health Futures 2026 connected directly to its work in digital health infrastructure. Systems such as MojTermin do more than support operational healthcare processes; they create the foundations for better coordination, better analysis, and more evidence-informed decisions.

Sorsix was proud to support Public Health Futures 2026 and contribute to a discussion on how technology and structured health information can help build stronger, more resilient health systems.
