IT Technician

The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support and assistance related to computer systems, hardware, and software. They serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues.

We are looking for a quality-driven, hands-on, taking the initiative person, to join our Sorsix team.

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years in the systems administration field

  • Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows, MacOS) and platforms.

  • Knowledge of IT networking, database systems, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Professional written and spoken English

  • Ability to multi-task


  • Respond to IT support requests from end-users.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, network connectivity, and software applications.

  • Perform routine updates and patches to ensure the optimal performance of systems.

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.

  • Install and configure software applications according to company standards.

  • Maintain an inventory of all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses.

  • Assist in maintaining the company’s LAN/WAN environment.

  • Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained.

  • Provide training to staff on new software applications.

  • Offer guidance on IT best practices and protocols.

  • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
