Responsibilities:

Installing, configuring, documenting, and maintaining assigned operating system(s) hardware & software.

Scheduling and performing installations & upgrades as needed.

Maintaining assigned system security and backup / recovery procedures.

Troubleshooting problems associated with an assigned server, desktop hardware, operating systems, and application software.

Resolving problems or escalating for further support.

Providing recommendations for hardware, systems software, and capacity budgeting & planning.
-
Developing, testing, and documenting disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Acts as a technical SME for serious incidents and complex issues related to storage

Ensure uptime and stability of all systems
We are looking for:
-
+10 years in the Linux/Unix systems administration field
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
-
Extensive Linux experience
-
Ability to develop Shell and Python scripts.

Excellent knowledge of web protocols, such as DNS, HTTP/S, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP
-
Apache/Nginx/IHS, setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (Haproxy)
-
Prominent industry certifications are a big plus

PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management

Professional written and spoken English

Excellent communication and presentation skills
